I have several of her sewing and quilting books and still watch the old shows on PBS or on the computer. I have reread her book, Seams Unlikely. Thank you for continuing her story. I saw Nancy a few times at Sew Expo in Puyallup, Washington, she was very gracious to everyone and when she had a book signing she didnt rush you thru the line. She was an inspiration to all & overcame so many challenges with her health. I have learned a great deal over the years from reading Nancys instructional books and watching (and re-watching) the shows. Maybe one day, but not yet. Ive watched her for Many, many years. I have learned so much from her. Although she is missed, she lives on in each of us who remember and admired her. I watched Sewing With Nancy from the beginning, and enjoyed every episode. Nancy helped me continually improve my sewing abilities. Her lessons have added to the joys in my life. I have enjoyed many years of watching Sewing with Nancy. Her tv persona and now the memory of her gives me courage t simply keep trying to improve myself and my handi-crafts one step at a time. The host and co-producer of "Sewing With Nancy" stepped away from the show earlier this year after learning the cancer had spread and couldn't be treated. I gained so much knowledge from watching Nancy. We miss her. She is missed! I am so sad to lose such a talented mentor. . I had done hand sewing in the past but not machine sewing. Ipshe was so easy to watch and you just seemed to be right there with her one on one. She was 64.
